Shipping Policy

At Lötter Print Co, we aim to get your order to you as safely and efficiently as possible. Because many of our products are custom-made, printed, branded, or produced specifically for each customer, production time and delivery time are separate.

1. Order Processing and Production

Orders are only processed once the required payment has been received and, where applicable, artwork has been supplied and approved.

Custom orders may require additional production time depending on the product, quantity, artwork, material availability, printing method, and workload.

Any production time shown on our website or communicated to you is an estimate unless specifically confirmed otherwise.

2. Production Time vs Delivery Time

Please note that production time does not include courier delivery time.

For example, if a product has a production time of 3–5 working days, courier delivery will only begin once the order has been completed and dispatched.

Working days exclude weekends and South African public holidays.

3. Shipping Areas

Lötter Print Co delivers throughout South Africa, subject to courier availability.

Some remote or outlying areas may require additional delivery time or may attract additional courier charges.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are calculated or displayed during checkout where applicable.

Shipping costs may vary depending on:

Delivery location
Parcel size
Parcel weight
Courier service selected
Remote or outlying area surcharges
Special handling requirements

Where an automatic shipping rate cannot be calculated, we may contact you before dispatch to confirm the applicable delivery cost.

5. Courier Delivery

Orders are generally shipped using third-party courier companies.

Once an order has been handed to the courier, delivery times are subject to the courier's operating schedules and service conditions.

Typical delivery times may vary depending on your location and the courier service selected.

Courier delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed by Lötter Print Co.

6. Delivery Delays

We will make every reasonable effort to dispatch your order within the estimated timeframe.

However, delivery may occasionally be delayed due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

Courier delays
Severe weather
Road closures
Public holidays
Strikes
Load shedding or power disruptions
Supplier delays
High seasonal order volumes
Remote delivery locations
Other unforeseen circumstances

Lötter Print Co cannot be held responsible for courier delays that occur after an order has been dispatched.

7. Tracking Information

Where tracking is available, customers may receive tracking information once an order has been dispatched.

Please allow some time for the courier's tracking system to update after collection.

8. Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing an order.

Please ensure that you include all relevant information, such as:

Street address
Complex or estate name
Unit number
Suburb
City or town
Postal code
Contact number

Lötter Print Co cannot be held responsible for delivery delays or additional courier charges caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

If a parcel needs to be redirected because of incorrect information, additional courier charges may apply.

9. Someone Must Be Available to Receive the Parcel

Customers should ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to receive the parcel where required by the courier.

If the courier cannot complete delivery, redelivery fees may apply.

Any additional delivery charges caused by unsuccessful delivery attempts may be payable by the customer.

10. Collection

Where collection is offered, customers must wait for confirmation that the order is ready before arriving for collection.

Please do not assume that an order is ready based solely on the estimated production time.

Collection details will be communicated once the order has been completed.

11. Damaged Parcels

If your parcel appears damaged when it arrives, please photograph the packaging before opening it, where possible.

If products have been damaged during transit, please contact us as soon as possible and provide:

Your order number
Clear photographs of the outer packaging
Clear photographs of the damaged product
A description of the damage

We may require this information to lodge a claim with the courier.

12. Incorrect or Missing Items

If your order arrives with an incorrect or missing item, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will investigate the issue and arrange the appropriate correction where the error was made by Lötter Print Co.

13. Lost Parcels

If a parcel appears to have been lost in transit, please contact us so that we can investigate the shipment with the courier.

A replacement or refund will only be processed once the courier investigation has been completed and the parcel has been confirmed as lost, where applicable.

14. Urgent Orders

If you require an order by a specific date, please contact us before placing the order.

We will advise whether the requested turnaround time is reasonably achievable.

We cannot guarantee delivery for a specific event or deadline unless this has been expressly agreed to in writing.

15. Custom Products

Because custom products are made specifically for each customer, production must be completed before the order can be dispatched.

Changes to artwork, specifications, quantities, colours, sizes, or other order details may affect the estimated dispatch date.

16. International Shipping

Unless specifically offered on the website or arranged directly with us, standard online shipping is currently intended for deliveries within South Africa.

Please contact us directly if you require delivery outside South Africa.
